When do they come out? Some places (NWTM) claim to have boxes.

Any ideas? Scuttlebutt?

I have never done business with them - but based on the SCORES of negative posts about NWTM on this site over the years..........

If they said the sky was blue........I'd run out and check to see what was wrong! :D

Meanwhile - the US Mint has released their first 2008 coins so its not unreasonable that Canada has too.

Based on other comments here I was not intending to buy from them; thanks for the thoughts, though, I really do appreciate people here looking out for each other.

Anyone else have silver maples, or know when apmex/BD/tulving might get them?

Could you dispense with the mealy-mouthed namby-pamby noncommital mumblings and state your opinion about NWTM? I'm not really clear about how you feel toward them. Be more direct, please.

don't know if it helps but I once heard someone say NWTM should be out of business and their owners put on trial. can't remember who it was that said it. think he might have had a donkey avatar.

So after you diss NWTM (in 3000 words or less) you have to go back to the original thread and say something nice about the Maples.

They have been out for a couple months already.

The mint ran them right after hitting quota on the '07's and released them in October.

As far as NWTM, I personally have no experience but have read MANY horror stories about them.

Caveat Emptor.

and dont worry.......i went outside and got my snowblower out from under the deck (where its been sitting for 2 yrs) and fired it up with no problem! i guess a combination of a water proof cover, STabil in the gas, and a Tecumseh engine....vrooomm!

ok now i'm ready for the snow tomorrow.

ok to be perfectly honest, I think that the bad reputation of NWTM is based all on rumors. I honestly have seen maybe one or two people post on this site saying they personally had a bad experience with them.

Now, I ordered a decent quantity of silver, around 30 ounces, in various bullion forms, and I received my order in about 2 weeks. They had told me to allow 5-10 business days and I was aware of that time frame when I ordered. So, from my perspective, that is a perfectly legitimate amount of time and well within the time frame of 10 business days.

So, I guess all I'm trying to say is don't rule them out just because GIM seems of late to be full of rumors that they provide bad service. I'm not trying to argue with anyone but I don't want us to all rule them out because hey, a silver seller is a silver seller... and when you want silver, you're going to want to consider the widest selection possible.
